Loewe, Raphael
(b. 1919)
   British scholar. Born in Calcutta, he studied at Cambridge University and served as professor at Hebrew at University College, London. His works include Women in Judaism, Omar Kayyam, The Rylands Sephardi Haggadah, Ibn Gabirol and The North French Hebrew Miscellany.
